With sectors of the economy getting set to reopen this Friday, Kate Beer from the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department explained what they’re doing to help businesses open, while slowing the spread of COVID-19.
Bars and restaurants in the U.P. and the northern part of the Lower Peninsula can reopen Friday, at 50% of normal capacity, followed by strict disinfecting guidelines.
Retail establishments and office work that cannot be done remotely can also reopen.
