Governor Whitmer thanked medical personnel during a press conference yesterday afternoon, to update everyone on Michigan’s battle against COVID-19.
She also noted the state now has increased testing capability, and that the number of confirmed cases seems to have plateaued. She also said this.
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson Spoke of the state’s steps for today’s elections during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The system that tabulates current cases and deaths due to COVID-19 had a glitch yesterday, so no update was available.
The glitch has since been fixed, but the system will be updating throughout the day.
