NHL – Red Wings Outskate Philadelphia
Pavel Datsyuk scored twice, as the Red Wings defeated the Flyers 5-2 last night. After scoring two goals in Monday’s game, Stephen Weiss added a goal and an assist last evening. Jimmy Howard stopped 22 of the 24 shots he faced. The Wings skate at New Jersey tomorrow night. Faceoff is at 7:00 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY.
NBA – Pistons Losing Streak Continues
The Detroit Pistons lost their sixth game in a row last night, falling to the Clippers 104-98. Detroit was up at halftime, but faded in the final period, and fell to 3-12 on the season. D.J. Augustin scored 19 points for the Pistons, and Andre Drummond had 17 points and 13 rebounds. The Pistons host the Bucks tomorrow night.
NFL Thanksgiving Day Games
In NFL action today…
– The Lions entertain the Bears. Kickoff is at 12:30 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY. Detroit left tackle Riley Reiff and running back Reggie Bush are listed as questionable… Reiff with a knee injury, and Bush with ankle and back problems. Bush told reporters yesterday that he hopes to play. Defensive tackle Nick Fairley and guard Larry Warford will miss the game because of knee injuries.
– The Eagles visit the Cowboys at 4:30.
– The Seahawks play at San Francisco at 8:30. You’ll hear both of those games on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY, as well.
