The Houghton County Board of Commissioners met last night, where the proposed 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County Resolution was the main topic.
Before public comments and the vote, a moment of silence was recognized for the recently deceased Anton Pintar and Ken Rowe.

Two people from the Keweenaw have been tested, although neither person has been diagnosed.
Cooperation between school and hospital administrations is ongoing.
Both those in favor and those opposed to the 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County Resolution were in attendance and spoke passionately regarding their positions.
Al McClellan in support of the Resolution, pointed out the hypocrisy of board members who oppose it.
Barry Fink, was not a fan of the resolution.
In the end, the resolution was defeated 3-2.
Proponents vowed to continue the fight.
