FinnZone Hopes To Bring Investment to the Keweenaw

The FinnZone is looking to bring businesses from Finland, to the Upper Peninsula.

The FinnZone, is made up of people and organizations of Finnish descent, and is working hard to bring investments from Finland.

Patrick Visser, CFO of the MTEC Smart Zone, as well as co-director of Finnzone, said Finland, while thought of as a struggling, old fashioned nation, is actually quite vibrant and strong.

Visser also pointed out several U.P Businesses, are hoping to set up shop in Finland.

The FinnZone hosts the Finnish delegation this Spring.
