Snowmobiler Hurt in Marquette County Crash

A snowmobile rider was hurt in a crash on Thursday afternoon in Marquette County.

Marquette County sheriff’s deputies were called to Trail 8 in Sands Township, at the railroad tracks south of Station Road.

Deputies report that 25-year-old Lucas Arledge of Gahanna, Ohio was westbound, and was unable to stop before hitting the tracks.

He was thrown from his machine, and broke his leg.

Arledge was treated at UP Health System-Marquette.

Officials say alcohol was not a factor.
