Families can stretch their legs and try snowshoeing tomorrow at the Nara Trails.
The free “Ring in the New Year” event will feature a sledding hill, a 4k snowshoe trail, and a snowshoe fun loop.
And, if you’ve never snowshoed, Iola Brubaker of the Keweenaw Family Resource Center says they’ll have some for you to try…
The goal is simply to encourage family interaction…
Bring your own sled, and snowshoes if you have them. Refreshments will be provided at the Nara Chalet between 10:30 and 1:30.
