U.P. Gasoline Prices Fall Slightly

Gasoline prices slipped slightly over the past week in our region.

The AAA Michigan survey puts the average price of a gallon of unleaded regular at $2.50 in the Marquette metro area this morning. That’s a penny lower than a week ago, seven cents higher than a month ago, and 13 cents higher than a year ago.

The average price in Houghton County is a bit higher, at $2.54 per gallon. Keweenaw County is the highest in the state, at $2.80. Baraga County is among the lowest, at $2.37.
