Finlandia University
A wild finish left the Finlandia women’s hockey team with a 4-3 loss to Marian University yesterday. Trailing 3-2 late in the game, the Lions pulled their goalie, and Kylie Dyni scored her second goal of the contest to tie it up with 24 seconds remaining. But, Marian won the ensuing face-off, and Mary Clark’s goal with five seconds remaining won the game for the Sabres.

The Detroit Pistons visit the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.

In the NFL yesterday…
– The Detroit Lions lost to the Minnesota Vikings 20-7. Detroit’s only score came on a David Blough touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.
– The Green Bay Packers defeated Washington 20-15. Both of the Pack’s touchdowns came in the first quarter, on an Aaron Jones run and an Aaron Rodgers pass.
– In last night’s game, the Los Angeles Rams downed the Seattle Seahawks 28-12.
