State Trooper Sentenced for Assaulting Female Colleague

A Michigan State Police trooper will complete a year in jail and serve three years on probation for assaulting a female colleague.

25-year-old Adam S. Mullin was convicted in Huron County on four charges.

Court records indicate he was having an affair with the colleague when he threw her across a room last February. She suffered head and back injuries.

Mullin then tried to cover up the incident by arranging a fake traffic stop, and saying she slipped and fell.

Following Mullin’s conviction in October, State Police officials moved to fire him, and revoke his law enforcement certification permanently.
