Gasoline prices in Michigan continued their downward trend last week.
AAA Michigan’s survey puts the current statewide average for a gallon of unleaded regular at $2.41 – nine cents less than a week ago.
Prices are generally higher in the Upper Peninsula. The average price in the Marquette metro area is $2.48 – four cents less than a week ago, and 40 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. Keweenaw County’s average is $2.80 per gallon. Houghton County comes in at $2.51 per gallon, and Baraga County is at $2.38 per gallon.
