The chair of the Michigan House Transportation Committee will visit the Copper Country this weekend to review roads damaged by the Father’s Day Flood.
Jack O’Malley (R-Lake Ann) was invited by local Representative Greg Markkanen (R-Hancock).
O’Malley says he hopes he can help find ways to get more money to pay for repairs…
He thinks that will probably involves using some state cash to leverage federal dollars that need matching funds…
O’Malley will tour some of the damaged sites tomorrow morning.
