Gasoline prices fell slightly over the past week.
AAA Michigan’s survey placed the average price of a gallon of unleaded regular at $2.60 in the Marquette region. That’s three cents less than a week ago, two cents less than a month ago, and 44 cents less than a year ago.
As usual, Keweenaw County was the highest in the state, at just over $3.00 per gallon. Houghton County’s average price was $2.66 per gallon. Baraga County was the lowest in the region, at $2.53 per gallon.
