The Houghton City Council has denied a request to rezone a parcel of property on Canal Road to accommodate the Isle Royale seaplane business.
At its meeting last night, the council decided not to change the zoning of the property at 18260 Canal Road from single family residential to industrial, even though the property, at one time, had been home to another seaplane company.
