Not all of the celebrities coming to this week’s Kraft Hockeyville USA festivities are people.
The Stanley Cup is in town, as is the MacNaughton Cup. Both of them will be on display along with the Gibson Cup at the community celebration this afternoon in Calumet.
You can also see the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile and the Planters Peanut Nutmobile. Carly Jean the Hot Dog Queen and “Meat Man” Mitch pilot the Weinermobile… which attracts just as much attention on the road as you think it would…
Along with the picnic from 4:00 until 8:00 at the corner of US-41and Red Jacket Road in Calumet this afternoon, the Weinermobile will be at the Colosseum for the Pioneers-Wolverines game tomorrow, and the Hockeyville game Thursday.
Carly Jean and Mitch said they may even take it to Copper Harbor in their spare time.
