L’Anse Village Council Supports Meadowbrook

At an otherwise quiet L’Anse Village Council meeting last night, council members voted to contribute 150-dollars toward more extensive advertising of this fall’s Howl-O-Scream Haunted House.

The haunted house is a major fundraiser for Meadowbrook Arena, and is looking to bring in more people by expanding its outreach.

Village Manager Bob LaFave also supplied an update on some renovations underway at Meadowbrook…

LaFave said the project would not have been possible without some help…

Meadowbrook is owned by the village, but is mostly maintained through local fundraising.

This year’s Howl-O-Scream Haunted House will be open October 11th and 12th, 18th and 19th, and 25th and 26th.
