Finnish bluegrass-rockers Steve ‘n’ Seagulls will be making a return visit to the Keweenaw with a concert at the Rosza Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, September 4. Tickets will be on sale Monday, July 1 for the high-energy band that performs bluegrass versions of well-known rock and metal songs from a decidedly Finnish perspective.

Last year’s show thrilled the audience at the Rosza and September 4th is guaranteed to do the same.

The event is hosted in conjunction with the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce Upper Michigan, Finlandia University, Good Times Music, 97.7 The Wolf and the Rosza Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $25 for general admission.

They filmed their rendition of “House of the Rising Sun” at the Quincy Smelter and Redridge Dam during their visit last year. They are planning another video shoot in the area again during their September visit.

More information about the event, links to some of the best Steve ‘n’ Seagulls videos and information about tickets can be found at finlandia.edu/seagulls or by calling the Rosza Center ticket office at (906) 487-2073.
