Donors help to raise $7,500 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation’s 11th annual golf outing

ONTONAGON, Mich. — Twenty, four-person teams took to the greens at the Ontonagon Golf Course for the 11th annual Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation Golf Outing on July 17.

This year was another great success, with donors helping to raise $7,500 for the purchase of new comfort position recliners for the residents of Aspirus Long Term Care. Last year, donors raised over $6,000 and the funds were used to make comfort improvements in the hospital’s medical-surgical unit.

The golf outing is one of the highlights of the year for the Foundation, Aspirus and the community. The tournament included dinner, an awards ceremony, and live and silent auctions. A total of 80 golfers participated.

Congratulations to these winning teams:

Women’s Division:  Sara Hirvela, Brittany Turin, Lauren Siren, Marlee Dehnert

Men’s Division:  Adam Spaulding, Willie DuPont, Matt Hagen, Ryan Tucker

Mixed Division: Joann Wood, Joe Strong, John Niskanen, Bob Raisanen
