Pilkerton visited the company to learn more about their operations and the Keweenaw Peninsula community.

The initiative is part of an effort by the National Council for the American Worker to educate, train, and/or re-skill 1,000,000 US workers.

Calumet Electronics was one of five companies chosen by the Association Connecting Electronics Industries to represent the domestic electronics industry.

The company was recognized by the President and Ivanka Trump at the White House last fall.
