One of the two suspects arrested on drug charges Saturday in Houghton is wanted for homicide in Milwaukee. The 22-year-old Milwaukee man gave local police a false name when he and a companion were picked up by detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team on charges of distributing crystal meth and heroin. Once the suspect’s real identity was confirmed, detectives from the Milwaukee Police Department began the process of transporting him back to their city, where he’ll face charges of First Degree Reckless Homicide. The name of the suspect is being withheld as the investigation continues.
