New Art Gallery Opens In Houghton

Art has a new home in downtown Houghton.

The Summer Season Gallery on Shelden Avenue recently opened and celebrated with an open house and ribbon cutting event last week.

Owner Whitney Warstler said the gallery will showcase amazing work from Michigan artists.

The Gallery will also host a variety of classes and workshops, from tai chi, yoga, cooking classes, and an array of art classes including, painting, jewelry making, and photography.

The Gallery will be open noon-6pm Tuesday-Friday and 11-2 Saturday & Sunday and by appointment.
