A limited number of spaces are available for a geological field trip to Isle Royale.
The experience is open to the general public of all ages and features guided visits with hiking and boat excursions over several days covering many scenic spots in Eastern Isle Royale, from Passage Island to Moskey Basin.
This unique field trip uses Michigan Tech’s Research Vessel Agassiz and ferry travel on the Ranger III, with food and lodging at Rock Harbor Lodge.
Trip leaders Bill Rose and Erika Vye will guide a group of up to 17 people to sites of natural geological beauty and interest.
The Geological Field Trip will take place June 17th to the 23rd.
The cost is $1,050 per person and early registration is encouraged before the trip fills up.
