Michigan Tech Offering Cybersecurity Camp For Local Students

Want to explore the exciting world of cybersecurity and computers?

Michigan Tech is offering a weeklong GenCyber program this summer.

This is an opportunity for students to enjoy a weeklong exploration in cybersecurity and experience university life.

The camp is for local middle school and high school students (grades 7-12) and will be held the week of June 17 – 21, 2019.

Students will learn fundamental cybersecurity and computer knowledge with experts in the field through fun, real-world learning experiences.

Camp activities include hands-on exercises, interactive lectures, games, career exploration, and campus tours.

All camp activities are offered at no cost to camp participants.

Funding of the camp is provided jointly by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation through an award received by Michigan Tech.
