Speakers from several academic, tribal, and government agencies will come together for the Lake Superior Workshop.
The fisheries workshop is being hosted by Michigan State University Extension, MI Sea Grant, and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
The Lake Superior Workshop will be held at the Great Lakes Research Center on Michigan Tech’s campus in Houghton on April 29th from 6pm-9pm.
The workshop is designed for the general public, anglers, fisheries researches, and those interested in environmental issues.
Topics this year include changes in angler demographics, lake trout studies, buffalo reef restoration, cormorants, prey fish populations, and many other Lake Superior topics.
The workshop is free and open to all and pre-registration is requested, but not required.
