HOUGHTON, Mich. – When choosing a healthcare provider for yourself or your family, finding the right match is really important.
Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital and Clinics is hosting a free Aspiring Women event to help match families with the right healthcare provider.
Women are invited to take part in the match.doc event on Monday, April 29th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm in the Memorial Union Ballroom on Michigan Tech’s campus.
“This is a great opportunity to meet all of the healthcare providers you might need in your lifetime, through all ages and stages,” said Jenn Jenich-Laplander, Aspiring Women coordinator for Aspirus Keweenaw. “We’ll have specialists in family medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, women’s health, podiatry, midwifery, cardiology, and more.”
There will be more than 20 Aspirus physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and therapists on hand to talk about their specialties, areas of interests and general health focus.
The format will be small group discussions, and will give attendees the opportunity to spend a little time with each provider to find out more about them.
Attendees will also get to enjoy appetizers complimentary cocktails, an Aspiring Women gift, and raffles.
