U.S. Senate candidate Gary Peters made a stop this past weekend in the Copper Country. Peters held a grassroots meet and greet at the Super 8 in Houghton and spoke about how his campaign has been going.
He also took on the topic of energy efficiency and discussed his concern for the rising energy costs in the area.
Peters will be in Escanaba and Marquette this morning to round out his U.P. visit.
