Ojala, Sirard Make WestPAC Boys Dream Team

The unbeaten Iron Mountain Mountaineers claimed the top honors in the WestPAC All-Conference Awards released today. Foster Wonders was named Player of the Year, Jaden Vicenzi was selected as Defensive Player of the Year, and Bucky Johnson was honored as the Coach of the Year.

The All-Conference Dream Team includes Calumet’s Matt Ojala and Houghton’s Brad Sirard, along with Marcus Johnson of Iron Mountain, Jason Waterman of Negaunee, and Gwinn’s Tucker Taylor .

Members of the Copper Division First Team include Houghton’s George Butvilas, Travis Ojala from Calumet, Louie Bogda and Reese Waara from L’Anse, and West Iron County’s Caden Pellizzer.

Members of the Iron Division First Team are Jakson Sager and Drew Lindberg of Negaunee, Westwood’s Nathan Beckman, Gavin Sundberg from Ishpeming, and Jaden Vicenzi of Iron Mountain.

Honorable Mention votes went to Sam Keskimaki of Houghton, Eli McParlan of Calumet, Peyton Anderson of Hancock, Alex Kissel of L’Anse, James Swanson of West Iron County, Drew DuShane of Negaunee, Austin Forbes of Gwinn, Blake Hewitt of Westwood, Darius Yohe of Ishpeming, and Charlie Gerhard of Iron Mountain.
