The Iron River Police Department is investigating an attempted abduction. Police say a small black four-door passenger car with a white bumper pulled alongside a juvenile on 4th Street around 8:40 p.m. Monday. The driver reportedly opened the passenger side door, telling the juvenile to “get in”. The juvenile was able to run away to safety. The suspect is described as a man wearing a grey hoodie pulled up over his head with a scarf covering all of his face except his eyes. Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or the suspect is asked to call the Iron River Police Department or Iron County Central Dispatch.
