A little less than a month away from the general elections and the candidates for the two contested races for the Houghton County Board of Commissioners seats are talking to voters and making their beliefs known. In District 1, Democrat Rick Kasprzak says he really wants to push his efforts into creating better opportunities for economic development.
Republican Eugene Londo has been hearing from voters that Kasprzak is accusing him of not supporting the medical care facility and Londo says that is not true.
The other contested race is in District 3 between the incumbent Tony Pintar and the challenger Mark Kemppainen. Full interviews with all the candidates are available on the Copper Country Today page on KeweenawReport.com.
