In the NFL yesterday…
– The Chicago Bears clinched the NFC North Division title with a 24-17 victory over the Green Bay Packers. The loss knocked the Packers out of the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers threw his first interception since week four.
– The Detroit Lions’ faint playoff hopes were officially extinguished with a 14-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Matthew Stafford threw for a touchdown, but the extra-point kick failed because of a bad snap. Zach Zenner ran for another score. Matt Prater missed a 48-yard field goal attempt in with six minutes remaining – the first time he has ever missed a go-ahead kick in the fourth quarter in his career.

In last night’s contest, the Philadelphia Eagles upended the Los Angeles Rams 30-23.
