The Finlandia University volleyball team fell to Thomas More 3-0 (11-25, 14-25, 19-25) in the ACAA tournament championship match yesterday. The Lions had advanced by defeating Alfred State University 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-19) Saturday. Jessie Diaz and Kaisa Holmstrom were named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Detroit Lions lost to the Minnesota Vikings 24-9 yesterday. The Lions’ rushing attack was held to 66 yards, and Matthew Stafford was sacked 10 times.
The New England Patriots scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, and defeated the Green Bay Packers 31-17 last night. The game-winning score was set up by a fumble by Packers’ running back Aaron Jones.
