Copper Mountain Conference Volleyball All-Stars Named

Copper Mountain Conference champion Lake Linden-Hubbell leads the 2018 All-Conference selections.

Mariah Willmer of the Lakes was named the Most Valuable Player. Teammate Joslyn Perala was honored as Defensive Player of the Year, and Mandy Perreault was named Coach of the Year.

The All-Conference Elite Team includes Mariah Willmer and Perala from Lake Linden-Hubbell, Jeffers’ Heidi Hillstrom, Abby Ahonen and Carlee Yon from Wakefield-Marenisco, and Elise Besonen and Ava Moilanen from Ewen-Trout Creek.

The Copper Country Division First team includes Wilmer, Perala and Hillstrom, along with Miranda Heinonen from Jeffers, and Maelene Warren and Carly Goddard from Chassell.

The second team includes Emma Stout from Dollar Bay-Tamarack City, Martina Jahfetson from Baraga, Mckenna Keranen and Jamie Hendrickson from Lake Linden-Hubbell, Lilly Turner from Jeffers, and Shannon Rantamaki from Chassell.

Honorable Mention votes went to Lela Rautiola from Chassell, and Brenna Hill from Jeffers.
