William Lahti, 91, a resident of Mohawk passed away on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at the Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium.
He was born on March 17, 1927 in Allouez a son to the late Onnie and Esther (Erickson) Lahti.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
On June 26, 1948 he was united in marriage to June Luokkanen in Laurium and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2016.
Preceding him in death was his Wife June, sons William and Daniel and grandchildren: Eric Kilpela, Daniel Lahti, Kristina Lahti, Allison Lahti, son in law Tom Kariniemi., brothers: Warren, Ralph & Roy and sisters Dorothy & Margaret

Ronald (Jennifer) Lahti of Fulton

45 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 15, 2018 at the First Apostolic Church of Fulton with Pastor David Taivalkoski to officiate.
Visitation will be on held Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the First Apostolic Church of Fulton from 5:00 to 9:00 and one hour prior to service.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet is assisting the family with the arrangements.
