Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette announced this week that more than 600 propane customers of Ferrellgas will receive relief in connection with an ongoing investigation into hundreds of consumers complaints in Michigan related to propane pricing and delivery during the 2013-2014 winter season. The assurance agreement with Ferrellgas allows for shared relief totaling more than 100-thousand dollars. Also, Schuette has filed a class-action lawsuit in Berrien County Circuit Court against propane retailer, AmeriGas, to pursue monetary and injunctive relief on behalf of that company’s Michigan customers.
