Houghton Skatepark Still Coming This Year

The Houghton Skatepark is still on track to be installed this fall.

Houghton City Manager Eric Waara said the 90 percent drawings were submitted by the organization for review and approval.

Waara said everything looked good so now they will begin to look at scheduling a start date for construction.

Despite being delayed, the plan is to finish the park before winter.
