1 Million Cups Returns To Finnish American Heritage Center

The Finnish American Heritage Center will host the next 1 Million Cups of Coffee small business startup event Wednesday at 9am.

1 Million Cups is a free, national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Developed by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee. Best of all, the event is free to attend – and the coffee is free as well!

Listen to two businesses pitch their ideas to our community! Each business has 6-7 minutes to pitch, followed by 15-20 minutes to answer questions from you and your fellow community members.

This month’s topics include
– Shane Oberloier presenting his Open Circuit Institute. Have you heard of 3D printing? What is the electronic circuit equivalent? Much like 3D printing, the goal of Open Circuit Institute is to provide comprehensive tools to promote and support in-home circuit manufacturing.
– Eric Ollis and Terry McNinch, sharing their joint effort: GeoArchive PAVEMENT. GeoArchive™
PAVEMENT is a simple tool that any agency can use to create and store a photo archive of pavement conditions. Combined with required maintenance records, GeoArchive PAVEMENT provides the best possible chance for agencies to secure relief funding from FEMA successfully.
