MLB
The Detroit Tigers had yesterday off, and open an interleague series at home against the Cincinnati Reds tonight. Matthew Boyd will start against Homer Bailey. Pregame coverage begins at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.

Eric Thames’ three-run homer was the difference, as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-2 last night. Starter Freddy Peralta labored through four innings, throwing 98 pitches, but giving up just one run. Milwaukee has won seven of its last 10 games, and is now just a game behind the Cubs in the race for the National League Central Division title.
