NASA Solar System Ambassadors To Visit Vertin Gallery

There are a couple of events in Calumet coming up that are out of this world.

A presentation called The Sun and the Great Michigan Meteor of 2018 will be held Saturday at the Vertin Gallery, with NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Solar System Ambassadors Bob and Connie Trembley.

They will have samples from their meteorite collection for audience members to hold.

The event begins at 6pm with the presentation starting at 7pm, followed by a telescope observation of the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn later in the evening.

Then on Monday afternoon, the Trembley’s return to the Vertin Gallery for Exploring The Solar System.

The event begins at 1pm, with the presentation starting at 2pm and a safe telescope viewing of the sun afterward.

The Sun and the Great Michigan Meteor of 2018

Invite your friends! Join the Vertin Gallery this Saturday night for “The Sun and the Great Michigan Meteor of 2018” presented by volunteer NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassadors Bob and Connie Trembley. Samples from Bob’s meteorite collection will be available for the audience members to hold.

Bring the whole family to the Vertin Gallery this Monday afternoon for “Exploring The Solar System” with Solar System Embassadors Bob and Connie Trembley.
