The 2nd annual Keweenaw County Public Safety Day is being held this Saturday. The free event takes place from 10am to 2pm at the Mohawk Park in Mohawk.
Public Safety Day is an event that brings members of the public together with the people who provide all aspects of Public Safety in Keweenaw County.
There will be demonstrations such as the Jaws of Life, smokehouse and air pack, the K9 unit, and many more. There will also be hot dogs and pop, plus a bouncy house and other games for the kids.
The public is encouraged to attend and get to know the people, equipment and capabilities that are available to them in Keweenaw County–and Deputy K9 Dogo will also be there!
