Keweenaw Cross Country Skiing and Copper Country Youth Hockey Grants Available

The Keweenaw Community Foundation (KCF) is now accepting applications for its annual granting cycle for two different Field of Interest grants.

$2,594.13 is available from the Keweenaw Cross Country Skiing Endowment Fund for local organizations supporting skiing programs.

$3,064.75 is available from the Copper Country Youth Hockey Endowment Fund in support of youth ice hockey programs throughout the Copper Country Junior Hockey Association territory and expanding opportunities for youth to further develop the skills necessary to participate in ice hockey.

To be considered, grant applications must be submitted to the KCF office no later than 4 PM on August 20th, 2018. Grant award recipients will be announced by September 24th, 2018.

Grants will be made to organizations or for programs previously demonstrating successful outcomes or to new, innovative organizations or programs with clear potential for positive outcomes. Grants must be used to support the three different endowments, respectively, throughout the Houghton and Keweenaw Counties.
