Light the Night Fun Run/Walk at Aspirus

The Women’s Health Team at Aspirus Keweenaw is hosting their first annual “Light the Night Fun Run/Walk” fundraiser this Saturday in Laurium. There will be a 5k for runners and walkers, and a free 1k run/walk for families, kids and those who just want to walk for the fun of it. Registration is $25, and includes a t-shirt, glow sticks and glow-in-the-dark Aspirus tattoos to be worn during the event. Children 10 and under are free. All proceeds benefit the creation of a Birth Place Lending Library at Aspirus Keweenaw. Participants can register online through Sept. 18, or from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the day of the race.
