MI-TRALE Awards 2018 Scholarships

MI-TRALE announced the awarding of four 2018 scholarships to students of Ewen-Trout Creek and Ontonagon High Schools.

Each scholarship was for $250.00 and to be used for the student’s continuing education in the fall.

The scholarships were presented to:

Brianna Delbridge, a senior at Ewen-Trout Creek high school who will be continuing her education at a yet to be chosen college where she will study forensic science and criminal justice.

Kristina Andrus, a senior at Ewen-Trout Creek high school. She will be attending Gogebic Community College to become a registered nurse.

Micah Blake

Micah Blake, a senior at Ontonagon Area high school who will continue his education by attending Association Free Lutheran Bible School for general bible studies, he hopes to get his pilot license after graduation.

David Wadman, a senior at Ontonagon high school who will be attending Gogebic Community College for general studies and will then transfer to Michigan Tech to pursue an electrical engineer degree.

All of those awarded scholarships have been very active in sports and/or other social activities within the school as well as within the community. In the future, special consideration will be given to those who assist and donate their time to
MI-TRALE.

MI-TRALE wishes to congratulate all graduates and wish them continued success in the future.

MI-TRALE (Michigan Trails and Recreation Alliance of Land and the Environment) is an all-volunteer organization who gives freely of their time and at their own expense to monitor and maintain 585 miles of multi-use trails within the western U.P. They work closely with their partners, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Ottawa National Forest, local governments and businesses to not only provide a great trail system for residents but to help encourage visitors visit our beautiful area.
