Little Brothers Holding Open House Saturday

Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly is inviting the public to an open house this Saturday.

The event takes place at their Hancock office from 11am to 3pm.

Executive Director Cathy Aten says they have lots of food and fun lined up for this first ever open house.  “We’re going to be showcasing our seven programs that we do. People can take a tour of our building and our two houses that we have where our international interns live. They’ll be treated to some fun activities and great food,” Aten said.

The open house is free and is a way Little Brothers can give back to the community that supports them so well.

Aten said, “It’ll be an opportunity for people to meet our staff, meet some of our key volunteers who really play a vital role in what we do. You know, we’re really proud of all of that so just want to be able to show the community what we’re about.”

The public is welcome to enjoy live music, food and beverages, kids games, prizes and much more.

The event is sponsored by the Portage Health Auxiliary, Tom and Donna Cole and Steve Zutter of Edward Jones Financial.
