101 Years Of Finnish Music Concert Series Moves On To Hurley, WI

The Musical Journey through Finland’s Independence continues its tour as it heads to Wisconsin.

The 101 Years of Finnish Music concert series will be at Little Finland in Hurley on Thursday May 31st.

Then it’s on to Minnesota with shows at the Fond Du Lac Tribal College in Duluth on June 1st and the Landmark Center in St. Paul on June 3rd.

Pasi Lautala, Oren Tikkanen, Bob Hiltunen and Tim Havens perform popular songs from prominent Finnish artists.

The songs take you from 1910s to today, each preceded by a short multimedia presentation of original artists and composers, even by a virtual visit by a Finnish artist with the most record sales by a solo artist.
