Houghton MI Skatepark is holding its third annual art auction at Keweenaw Brewing Company.

They’re auctioning off work from local artists made on skateboard decks provided by Quincy Woodwrights.

The public is invited to the free event on Thursday, May 17th to browse and bid on these items.

The silent auction will take place from 7:00-9:00pm with a live auction on select items at 8:00pm.

Live music from Bob Hiltunen.  All ages, free entry.

Last year’s art auction helped the organization pass their phase one funding goal.

They are currently nearing their phase two goal of $200,000, which would allow them to construct both phases this summer.

Any additional funding will be used to further expand on skatepark obstacles and design features.
