Jay Henry Stevens, 19, passed away Sunday May 6, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on May 19, 1998, in Marquette to Jay A. Stevens and Lisa DeRosier. At 2lbs 2.4 oz, a fighter, Jay came into the world and always excelled at what ever he did. He was always full of life and had a big heart & he will be missed by all who knew him. He was a 2016 graduate of Jeffers High School and a 2018 graduate of Northern Michigan University Electrical Lineman program. Jay enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncle and great grandfather.
Jay is survived by his parents, Jay Stevens and Lisa DeRosier and his brother Brett Stevens at home whom he loved with all his heart, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jay will be held 12 noon Friday May 11, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church of South Range with Fr. John Martignon to officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery of South Range.
Friends may call on Friday from 10 am until 11:45 am at Holy Family Catholic Church of South Range.
