1 Million Cups Presentation Features New Business Ideas

The Finnish-American Heritage Center will have two local businesses pitch their ideas to the community tomorrow at 9am as part of 1 Million Cups.

The businesses include 101 Quincy and Carrot Ranch Literary Community.

101 Quincy is the Keweenaw’s first co-working space! The public is welcome to build a business, finish a report, schedule your next big meeting, and share ideas.

Carrot Ranch is an imaginary place for real people. It’s an online literary community that makes literary art accessible 99 words at a time. Writers around the world share their stories with local communities through literary outreach programs.

1 Million Cups is a free, national program, put on locally by the MTEC SmartZone, Finlandia, Michigan Tech and others.

Businesses have 6-7 minutes to pitch, followed by 15-20 minutes to answer questions from the community.
