Gino’s Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge has been purchased by the Miron family of Hancock. Gino’s has been part of the Hancock community for generations, and the new owners are looking forward to continuing the long tradition of this local classic restaurant.
The restaurant does not have an open date finalized. It will be keeping the same name. The new owners have been in contact with longtime former owner Shaky, who has agreed to share recipes from several classic Gino’s menu items including ravioli and spaghetti.
The Miron family is getting back in the restaurant business for the first time since they owned the Crystal Room on the 300 block of downtown Hancock more than 30 years ago. The family plans to introduce at least one new menu item, Block’s Burger, in memory of the late Claude “Block” Miron.
The family-owned business hopes to open within the next 4 to 9.5 weeks, and invites the community to visit ginosofhancock.com to sign up for updates as the restaurant nears opening again.
