Two men have been arrested following a raid on a suspected meth lab in a house on Fair Street in Marquette yesterday. Detectives assigned to the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) entered the home with a search warrant. They say they found methamphetamine, two firearms, and so much hazardous meth manufacturing material that the street had to be closed for five hours between Woodland Avenue and Woodbridge Avenue to protect public safety while it was removed. The 38-year-old and 27-year-old suspects face charges related to meth manufacturing, and were held at the Marquette County Jail. Names will be released after their arraignments. The investigation continues.
