Two people were injured in a crash Thursday afternoon in Osceola Township.
Houghton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash on Highway M-26 near Airport Park Road shortly after 2pm.
Authorities say a vehicle driven by a 58-year-old man from Macomb, Michigan was heading south on Airport Park Road when he was unable to stop at a stop sign.
He was then struck by a 28-year-old Houghton woman, who was headed west on M-26.
Both vehicles then struck parked tractors in the Wards Outdoor Equipment & Repair parking lot.
The drivers of the two vehicles were taken to U.P. Health System—Portage by friends and family.
Their conditions were not reported.
The accident remains under investigation.
